Early in the morning on Feb. 28th, Dale Bikowski, Todd Peterson and Ginny Steen were gathered at Wal-mart for their morning meeting. They were there to receive a $1,500.00 check from Wal-Mart. When the employees of the Wisconsin Rapids Wal-Mart Super Centre sponsored a meal for The Neighborhood Table, they turned in their volunteer hours to Wal-Mart Foundation. The Foundation then issued a check to The Neighborhood Table. The Neighborhood Table benefits in two ways: the generous Wal-Mart employees sponsored a meal AND the Wal-Mart Foundation awarded the grant for $1,500.00, Thank you Wal-Mart!
The Neighborhood Table services the communities of Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa, Port Edwards, Wisconsin and surrounding areas
