We buy our food from several sources,
Second Harvest; a national food bank. Manufacturers and distributors of
food, contribute to Second Harvest and we are able to buy whatever is
available at a greatly reduced cost. Second Harvest charges 18 cents or
less per pound of food. This amount covers their costs of warehousing
and they are a non-profit organization. We also buy from a large food
distributor and from local supermarkets who give us great
discounts.
Schreiber Cheese in Wisconsin Rapids
and the distributor for Kraft cheese give us all the cheese used at our
meals. Schreiber Cheese also contributes all the butter we use. Ocean
Spray Cranberry in Babcock gives us all the cranberry juice and
cranberries we need.
We are overwhelmed by the support of our community.
We receive generous contributions from many businesses and
individuals.
