The board meets on
the first Monday of the month at 5:00 pm at Saint John's Episcopal
Church, 320 Oak Street, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Ginny Steen- Founder and Director of The Neighborhood
Table, serves as President of the Board of Directors.
Todd Peterson- Vice President-Todd loves The Neighborhood
Table, and we love him. His special gift is talking to people and
helping them with their problems. He has organized churches and schools
to sponsor meals. He feels this is his ministry. Todd teaches 6th grade
at Grove School.
Dale Bikowski- Treasurer- Dale not only keeps the books and pays the bills, he applies for grants from
foundations. He is employed as controller for Stora Enso North America.
Chris Grimes- Secretary to the Board-Chris is a member of the
First English Lutheran Church and is chair of their Outreach Committee.
In this capacity she has become actively involved with our ministry. She
is a nurse at Riverview Hospital.
Monica Hass- Monica is one of our original
volunteers. She has been responsible for organizing many meals and
recruiting sponsors.
Angie Hill- Angie was elected to the board
in 2005. She has been a willing volunteer since the beginning. She
organizes the "To-Go" center, distributes donations of food,
makes potato salad and does anything else that needs to be done!
Marilyn Rehberg- Marilyn learned about The Neighborhood Table from our
local newspaper. She is always
there to help and loves to be in the kitchen, cooking.
Rev. Paul Veldman- Pastor of the First
Congregational Church. Paul is very involved with outreach in the
community. Our county emergency food pantry is located in his church.
Rev. Vicki Natzke- Pastor of St. John's
Episcopal Church. This is the church where The Neighborhood serves the
meals. Pastor Vicki came from a parish in Waupaca where she was
instrumental in starting that city's community meal/soup kitchen
program.
Dale Goessl - Dale was elected to the
board in 2005. Dale just began "showing up", carting items
from the storage area, doing dishes, setting the table, just
"doing". He is a core member, devoted to The Neighborhood
Table. In his spare time he works at Domtar.
Lisa Borre- Lisa found us by being a
dynamic volunteer for the dinners sponsored by St. Vincent's. She is
working on her Masters degree in Education, teaches 4 year old
kindergarten, has 3 children, a husband and finds time to do a lot for
The Neighborhood Table!
Cathy Kuhn- Cathy recently retired from
Assumption High School, where she planned all the meals for area
Catholic schools. She is invaluable because of her knowledge in meal
planning and preparation, and she is a fun person to work with!
The Neighborhood Table services the communities of
Wisconsin Rapids, Nekoosa, Port Edwards, Wisconsin and surrounding areas
